Zombie Bite

ITS HALLOWEEN TODAY :D

After watching a few SFX zombie tutorials on Youtube, I decided to have a go at my own Zombie Bite. It's kinda hard to see as I was trying to put some effects on top of them and overwrote the originals :,(

Its really easy to do. Because it was on my arm and not my face, I used my little pallet of water colors as I didn't want to waste my nice face paints. For the 3D bite wound, I used bits of tissue paper and just a couple of layers of liquid latex on top to hold them in place. To get the textured effect around the arm get a old makeup sponge and rip little holes in it.

THIS HAS TO BE LIKE THE CHEAPEST LOOK EVER!

If you want to do it on your face, I recommend getting some water based face paints and just going from there. You don't even need that much on your sponge as you want to get it as thin as possible.

I was pretty proud of it (And I scared my mum a bit :D )

I will try and post a proper tutorial on this soon.

Harley Quinn Makeup

Sup Guys :D

HAPPY HALLOWEENNNNNN :D

I have loved Harley for a while now and with Halloween being today and well, her Arkham City outfit being my costume, I decided to do her makeup.

For anyone who doesn't know her makeup, here's a picture of her.

Its a pretty easy look to do and doesn't take that long.

THINGS I USED:

Smiffys Make-Up FX in White -£3, Asda

Collection 2000 Color Intense Trio 5. Fuchsia Falls - £1, Poundland

2True Matte Lipstick No.6 -£?, ?

Hello Kitty Make-Up Palette Sweet Kitty Face - £3, H&M

Scarlett & Crimson Beauty Book Lush Lips Edition - £?, Boots

Tutti Cuti Pretty Punky Mascara- £?, ?

MUA Liquid Eyeliner, £1, Superdrug

Steps:

1. First Pin back your hair and moisturize and clean your face.

2. Apply the Smiffys White Face Paint all over except for eye lids(Its quite liquid like so I would recommend dabbing it on lightly and do several layers)

3. Apply the dark purple from the Collection 2000 eyeshadows to your upper lid, making sure to cover all over and make it as dark as possible (If you have a smoky grey eyeshadow you may want to use that instead)

4. Draw on a line with the MUA eyeliner above your top lash (I added a flick on the end out of habit which didn't look too bad)

5. Put on some of the Tutti Cuti Mascara on top and bottom lashes for that POW! effect (lol comic humor)

6. Get a lip brush (or just a thin brush) and outline your lips with the 2True Lipstick (Its quite dark and easily smudges so mind out!)

7. Fill the rest of your lips in with the bright red on the Scarlett & Crimson lipstick pallet and then blend making sure you keep some of each color by itself.

8. Suck in your cheeks and lightly dab on the blusher from the Hello Kitty pallet.

DONE!

Heres some pics from my finished results (Mind that it was dark and my camera is terrible as I was using my phone)

Also I am wearing bright blue lenses in this so don't worry if your eyes aren't this bright.

PS: I will try and post some pictures of my complete Halloween costume.

Zombie Alice In Wonderland Makeup

I finally found some pictures from last year's Halloween. I went as a zombie version of Alice in Wonderland. I made my costume and apron my self from a dress I got in a charity shop for a couple of quid and a old white t shirt.

It was a bit short as I accidently under estimated where to cut it to (oops) so I wore some shorts underneath and they worked fine.

My favorite part of this look though was the makeup.

If I could though, I would definitely try and re create this look as it is one of my favorites. I would give it a bit more depth and darken the cut more, but I'm pretty proud of this seeing as a year ago, I really wasn't interested in makeup.

Well done Lid. I wish I had contacts a year ago though :'( and I now wish in the present day, I had a decent working camera so I could capture my newest creations and not just rely on my Windows Phone :(

Mellor & Russell Simply Bright Colour Wash Pink Blush and Blue Mist Review

If you are familiar with Mellor & Russell and live in the UK, you would know you can get them in my favorite place on earth, Poundland.
So that's £1 for each tube. When you are paying that kind of money for something, you shouldn't really have the highest expectations for it right?
Right.
These were really easy to apply providing you have some Latex gloves.
(Also from Poundland :D )

You just shampoo your hair and towel dry it and then put the stuff on for 10-15 minutes.
I did half pinky and half blue as I'm going as Harley Quinn for Halloween and needed her hair (THEY DIDN'T HAVE RED AND BLACK I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO). I did the blue first and oh my it stained my wrist where the glove wasn't covering Smurf blue.

The dye was really bright and messy for this one. For the pink though, I was a little disappointed. I know pinks and oranges don't come out well on my hair but this was like having just shampoo in my hair.

I washed it out and waited for it to dry. The blue lightened into a really nice turquoise colour (bit patchy but thats probably my fault). The pink showed up a little bit, making my hair slightly more orange.

The lighting is really bad because it's just so god damn dark in my room but I think you can see which side worked and which didn't.

I might try another layer of the pink and just sort out the patches on the blue side.

Happy Halloween For Tommorow :D

Death From Deadpool The Video Game Makeup

We all know Deadpool. We all love the merc with a mouth.

And many of us have played or at least seen his game.

I watched some game play for it recently and fell in love with the re imaged character of Death.

BEAUTTT!

So i decided to do her makeup but forgot to film and am too tired to write an how to on it.

:( SORRY

But here is my version of Death.

(It was whiter in real life but the filters on Instagram made it look normal)

Also I couldn't find a decent picture of the detail on the forehead so sorry for minimal effort :s
